CETFA is pleased to announce the appointment of Patricia Dunwoody as the organization's General Manager. Ms. Dunwoody will report to the managing directors of CETFA, each representing its three founding firms and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the association.

Pat Dunwoody has over 25 years experience in the Financial Services industry in a variety of executive roles, which has provided her an in-depth understanding of the functioning of the industry; her last role was the Vice President, Member Services and Communications at The Investment Funds Institute of Canada. She has served on industry committees throughout her career and continues to do so, to ensure the ongoing success of the industry.

"All of the members of CETFA are very happy to announce the appointment of Pat Dunwoody as our new general manager,” Mr. Atkinson said. "Pat already has a wealth of prior experience working for a financial services association. Her experience and insight will be tremendously valuable as we work to build and expand the influence of this association.”

"The ETF industry has been growing at a rapid pace, but it's still very much in its infancy," said Ms. Dunwoody, "I'm very excited to be working CETFA and helping the association in its goals of expanding awareness about ETFs and educating Canadian investors about how to best use them."
