The CETFA will work to create more awareness about ETFs and to provide greater depth of education to investors and advisors about their usage. We will work with all education providers to provide them with up-to-date information on both the product and industry to ensure an accurate reflection of the product.

CETFA and Smarten Up

On March 10, 2014, the Canadian ETF Association – in partnership with Smarten Up Institute announced the launch of two courses, “Introduction to ETF’s” and “The Science of ETFs”.  One is a general introduction courses for industry professionals and consumers at large, while the “Science of ETFs” is for the more advanced professional that needs to understand the variables in the different ETF products and financial strategies these products can be part of.  Click to Download Press Release.

All courses through the CETFA are accredited per IIROC (CECAP) and Financial Planning Standard Council (FPSC) requirements.
