Mark Neill is President, Phillips, Hager & North Investment Funds and Head, Direct to Investor and Strategic Alliances for RBC Global Asset Management Inc.(RBCGAM) and has overall responsibility for RBC's ETF business. RBCGAM is the asset management division of Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) which manages over CAD $260 billion in assets. Mark has worked in the asset management industry for over 20 years holding progressively more senior roles over this time with three organizations. Mark entered the industry initially working with another Canadian Bank, then joining Phillips, Hager & North in 2004. Phillips, Hager & North was subsequently acquired by RBC in 2008. Mark is a member of the retail executive team which manages CAD $120 billion in assets and is the largest mutual fund company in Canada.
Mark received his Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder designation in 2001, his Certified Financial Planning designation in 1997 and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Toronto.
Mark and his family reside in Vancouver with their four young children. Mark is active in several charities, and is a trustee for the Arts Umbrella Foundation who's mission it is to inspire kids for life through the arts.
